25 fellowships
IIT and the Università degli Studi di Genova (www.unige.it) have renewed the agreement for a 3-year PhD School in Humanoid Technologies. Research activities have been defined with the aim of training researchers willing to explore aspects of the three technology platforms defined in the general scientific plan of IIT:
Robotics, Neurosciences, and Nanobiotechnologies,
All research activities will be carried out at IIT labs in Morego (Genoa – Italy) or at the other centers of the IIT research network identified on a case-by-case basis by the school’s board of professors and agreed with the student.
The PhD School in Humanoid technologies focuses on an interdisciplinary approach and will explore themes of the IIT scientific plan detailed in the application documents.
During the three years, students will address methodological and theoretical issues for the design and the implementation of devices and robotics systems.
Training activities will integrate the research performed autonomously and in team, both in Italy and abroad
This year’s school activities will start in January 2007.
